The kitchen is fully equipped: gas hob, microwave, kettle, rice cooker, knives, cutting board and cutlery. The dining table seats four. The water dispenser gives filtered water in warm and hot only, both safe to drink straight from the tap. There is no cold setting, so chill a bottle in the fridge if you want it cold.

Two queen bedrooms, and a foldable mattress, set up on request, sleeps a fifth guest.

The bathroom has a rain shower and plush towels. Every room has its own aircon, with ceiling fans in the living room. Wifi runs at 200 Mbps and there is a proper desk in a room with a door if you need to work.

You are welcome to use the condo facilities: the swimming pool on Level P6, open 8am to 8pm (from 12pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday because of morning maintenance), tennis and badminton courts, the gym, yoga room, study room and game room with pool and ping pong tables.

The condo BBQ pit can be used too. Book it with us at least 3 days ahead, and condo management takes a RM200 deposit.

There are surau on site, separate ones for men and women.

The garden is a good spot for a morning walk, and security is on 24 hours.

We are not on site, but we answer fast. Message us through Airbnb and you will usually hear back within the hour, day or night.

Ask us anything: where to eat, how to get to the Causeway, which bus goes where. We have hosted here since 2023 and we know the area well. If you would rather be left alone, that is fine too.

Country Garden Danga Bay sits on Johor Bahru's longest beach, a 400m stretch about 3 minutes' walk from the block.

Getting to town: the Causeway Link CG1 bus leaves the Phoenix Club stop on Persiaran Danga Perdana every hour from 4am to 11pm, direct to JB Sentral with no stops in between. RM1.50 a trip, cash or ManjaLink card. Coming back, buses leave JB Sentral on the half hour, 4.30am to 11.30pm. From JB Sentral you can walk to CIQ to cross into Singapore.

Walking distance: AEON supermarket and Beletime Danga Bay Mall are both about 5 minutes. Starbucks is opposite the property, and there is a KK Mart and a FaazMart at the block. Satay, BBQ wings and Ramly burgers are around the corner.

By Grab, 10 to 20 minutes: City Square, Komtar JBCC, KSL City Mall and Paradigm Mall.

With kids: Danga Park opened in 2026 with big playgrounds and splash zones, about a kilometre along the waterfront. It is walkable but most people drive or Grab, which takes five minutes. Open 7.30am to 11pm and closed 6.30pm to 8pm for cleaning. Free for Malaysians with ID, RM20 for adult passport holders and RM10 for children aged 5 to 12.

There is a police hut nearby and security patrols the estate.

The CG1 bus to JB Sentral leaves the estate every hour from 4am to 11pm, RM1.50 a trip, cash or ManjaLink card. Return buses leave JB Sentral on the half hour until 11.30pm.

Grab is the easiest way to the bigger malls, 10 to 20 minutes.

Parking: one free space comes with the unit. A second vehicle is RM20 a night, register at the guardhouse. Motorbikes park near Block 1C on Level P1.

Most of what you need day to day is within a 5-minute walk.

Electricity is included in the rate. No meter readings, no extra charges. We only ask that you switch the aircon off when you go out.

Worth knowing before you book: there is one bathroom, one free parking space (a second car is RM20 a night at the guardhouse), and no dryer in the unit, though there is a drying rack and a laundromat nearby. The water dispenser gives warm and hot filtered water only, not chilled.

Durian and mangosteen cannot be brought into the unit. Bringing durian in means a RM100 cleaning fee.
